Prof. Anthony Burke

School of Humanities and Social Sciences

A leading international scholar, Anthony teaches at the School of Humanities and Social Sciences at UNSW Canberra. He’s an expert in the fields of international security studies, international ethics, war and peace, and political and international relations theory. Prior to lecturing, he worked as a research officer in the Senate's environment, arts and communications committee, co-authoring reports on the ABC, the Jabiluka uranium mine and Australia's response to climate change. His current interests include cosmopolitanism, new security agendas and conflicts, security ethics, the posthuman and climate change.
